More then you’d imagine

You tell me there’s no way out
You say something, do you mean something else
You listen to the voices in your head
They say something, do you hear something else

The white doves in your garden, set them free
Reach up to the heavens, and kiss the skies

There is
Something I wished
There is
Something I said
There is…
Love and Faith

There is
Something you know
There is
Something you want
There is…
Fear and Desire

Baby, let’s go higher…..

You say all this is unreal
But What I say is true…
More then you’d imagine… baby I love you…

We’ve had our bitter past, everything seemed lost
It taught us something, why should we learn something else
We talk nothings, we share the bond
It gave us one thing, why should we take something else

The flowers in your garden, let them grow
Reach for the stars, and let us glow

There is
Someone above us
There is
Something around us
There is…
Smile and Pain

There is
Something we have
There is
Something we share
There is…
Hope and Care

Baby, let’s go higher

You say all this is unreal
But What I say is true…
More then you’d imagine… baby I need you…
More then you’d imagine… baby I love you…

The silence around us
And the distance between us
The ground beneath us
And the heaven above us
Let them drift apart
Baby…. Let’s mend our hearts

You say…
All this is unreal
All this is untrue
You say…
All this is impossible
All this makes no sense to you

But What I say is true…

More then you’d imagine… baby I need you…
More then you’d imagine… baby I love you…
More then you’d imagine… baby I care for you…
More then you’d imagine… baby I look for you…
More then you’d imagine… baby I think of you…
More then you’d imagine… baby I yearn for you…
More then you’d imagine… baby I love you…
More then you’d imagine……………………
More then you’d imagine……………………

You....

You....

(written 2005)

You make me smile

You make me cry

You make me laugh

You make me think

You make me fly

You... Without you I'm so alone...

Sitting here… just guessing

Over all the puzzles that set us apart...

Please get back home

Let’s live from the start…

You make me run

You make me dream

You make me walk

You make me jump

You make me scream

You...With you I'm so complete...

Sitting there... just dreaming

Over n over again...

Please get back home

Let’s forget the past…

You make me sing

You make me shine

You make me feel

You make me win

You make me real

Looking back at those days…

Brings smile on my face

And tears in my eyes…

Come n take me back with you

You make me smile

You make me cry

You make me laugh

You make me think

You make me fly

You make me run

You make me dream

You make me walk

You make me jump

You make me scream

You make me sing

You make me shine

You make me feel

You make me win

You make me real

You make me what I am......

the sweet taste of bureaucracy

I was just listing down some of the important tasks to be done before I am eligible to start my MBA at CEIBS.

1. Loan
2. Health insurance
3. Pack up Accenture
4. Accenture relieving letter
5. China Student Visa
6. Thailand Transit Visa
7. Tickets

Of course, this does not include my personal list of to-do's!! (I'll post it later). But I have to get the above things done as soon as possible... Time is running out fast and I've got just 3 months more. However, it's not as of I am lazing around, watching the May Sun shine brightly. I've hit upon a potential deadly devastating (ok, enough) deadlock.

1. Loan - Just wasted 2 weeks working with the bank that eventually, due to some absurd policy of theirs, had to deny my loan application. (Bastards!) I'm back at square one now, with a fool-proof plan, that should, hopefully get my loan approved by May end/Early June.

2. Health insurance - This is scheduled to be done by July end. Not a priority right now. My health is perfectly fine so that I survive next 3 months at-least. I jog everyday now. (No idea why, but I guess some girls jogging in the morning are the driving force behind my motivation)

3. Pack up Accenture - Will put down the papers officially by end of this week, and get-off by May end.

4. Accenture relieving letter - This will obviously be done after I resign. Just have to make sure I get this before I fly-off.

5. China Student Visa - Waiting for JW202 form from China Ministry of Education. Following up with CEIBS. (Make it fast guys!!). Website says 4-5 working days to process the visa. No Big Deal I suppose in getting this done.

6. Thailand Transit Visa - Oh hoooo... Why Thailand??? Well, due to the fantastic efforts by Karthik, one of my to-be batch-mate, we are flying to Shanghai via Bangkok and will be freaking out in Bangkok for 3 days. Looking forward to that. Transit visa wil be done after Chinese visa is done. Processing time - 2 days.

7. Tickets - At least this is done!! Thai Airways, 14-Aug-08, 11:35 PM (bye bye Mumbai)

behind the mirror

the one behind the mirror
is you
so false
yet so true

i remember those days
everything so new
so false
yet so true

everyday we talked, we walked
down the road, your eyes so blue
so false
yet so true

there were times you said
'I'll do anything for you'
so false
yet so true

i still think
of the lost times
so false
yet so true

one thing I need to say
I'm happy without you
so false
yet so true

the one behind the mirror
is you
so false
yet so true

- abhijit

so true...

Who's to say where the wind will take you
Who's to know what it is will break you
I don't know which way the wind will blow
Who's to know when the time has come around
Don't wanna see you cry
I know that this is not goodbye

something connects

I've been listening to 'The Reason' album by Hoobastank and, somehow, somewhere, the below lines from the title track connects strongly to the recent past..... wierd(!)

I've found a reason for me
To change who I used to be
A reason to start over new
and the reason is you...

it SHURE rocks

Music... the way artists intended you to hear. Well, I've been listening to music right from the days when the large LP records used to rule (and Ive got quite a collection of them...!). I've heard music right from the crappy Headphones to the smoothest noise-canceling Bose Headphones. But nothing, absolutely nothing beats SHURE. (www.shure.com)

I got SHURE SCL3 some months back -
http://www.shure.com/ProAudio/Products/PersonalMonitorSystems/us_pro_SCL3_content

and since then I've heard people commenting why do you need such an expensive set of earphones that costs more than what your iPod does! Well, agreed - they are expensive (from 100 USD minimum to 500 USD). But you hear them once, and I guarantee that you wont go back to your normal ear/head phones. I can now hear the same song, and discover new sounds when I hear them repeatedly. Every cymbal, bass, vocal note is crisp and clear. I can hear the acoustic guitar strings vibrating on unplugged albums. I can hear the artist breathing in pauses during vocals. I can make out the difference in an 128 kbps vs 320 kbps vs an cd quality song. And never ever I can hear anything thats going around me because of the amazing noise isolation and canceling technology they've used. I may sound bogus, (probably defending my 150$ purchase! ), but believe me. You wont regret this life-long investment, if you are a true music lover.

Cheers!

i miss the rainbow

all we had
you took away
a beautiful life

Student Book

Got an email from CEIBS asking to send a 'interesting' write up and a 'vivid' photograph for the student book. I mean, interesting writeup is o.k., but vivid pic?!?! It took me 3 days and 18 hours for photo-searching sessions to finally find out this pic that I sent.

Hope this would be a hit with chinese gals!
